Common questions

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every account starts with a 24-hour trial at full Conductor level so you can explore GLOSS, SET, and PASSPrompts immediately. No card required. If you want more time, add a card to continue on a 30-day trial. You won't be charged until the 30 days are up.

When does billing start?

Your card is captured when you start the 30-day trial but not charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before day 30, nothing is billed — no refund needed. After the trial, billing follows a use-then-pay model on your chosen plan.

What is always free?

The UK Fatalities dashboard is permanently free for all registered users, including expired trials. It gives you access to annual fatality trends, cause breakdowns, and industry analysis for Great Britain.

How do team invites work?

There are two routes. Conductor seats ($25/seat/mo) are for team members who do not have their own SafetyRatios subscription — you purchase the seat, they receive an account and access the projects you assign them. Project sharing is free and available for colleagues who already hold an Aggregator or Conductor subscription — add them directly to specific projects with Guest, Admin, or SuperAdmin access. Explorer and Curator subscribers cannot be added via project sharing; purchase a seat for them instead.

What are GLOSS, SET, and PASSPrompts?

GLOSS (Global Loss Statistics) is our multi-country benchmarking dataset covering fatalities, non-fatal injuries, and industry and cause breakdowns across multiple countries. SET is the Safety Event Tracker — an analytics module where you upload and analyse your organisation's own safety data in projects alongside the national benchmarks. PASSPrompts goes further: it takes hazard information from risk assessments, observation reports, recent accidents, and other sources and turns it into personalised safety instructions for individual team members. Rather than issuing the same generic guidance to everyone, PASSPrompts distils everything known about the hazards in a specific location or task into clear, actionable instructions for the person planning to do that work.

Can I change plans?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time — changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated.

Is my data secure?

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Project data is private to your account and your invited team — it is never shared or used in aggregate benchmarks.
